With bittersweet sentiments NES wished Carol Smith, longtime Office Manager, happy retirement. Carol has been with NES since 1995, nearly 30 years. Carol has been the constant steadiness throughout the many years juggling office relocations, advancements in technology, nearly 200 designers and planners coming and going, ensuring clients get paid and building key cards work. Though she wouldn’t draw attention to herself, Carol has been an integral piece in countless development projects throughout the Pikes Peak region throughout the last thirty plus years.
Nearly 80 well-wishers including friends, family and past and current NES employees gathered at Jack Quinn’s to send Carol off with laughter and reminiscing. In the picture above, Carol donned in a sash and tiara, is surrounded by past and current NES employees who have all benefited from her professional and cheery presence. We wish you a happy retirement, Carol!
